By focusing on developing strength, flexibility, and coordination while improving postural alignment, these mat-based therapeutic exercise and myofascial release classes are designed to increase functional movement patterns, improve posture, stability, balance, increase lung capacity, and develop core strength. You will learn to work the deep musculature of the body to stabilize and support the spine by combining Pilates mat, Somatic Integration, and small portable equipment such as various therapy balls, stability trainer, and foam rollers.

Twenty three years of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork with ten years as an instructor at the Integrative Therapy School bring a wealth of insight and knowledge to Ann's classroom. Ann is a certified Pilates mat instructor through ITT (Integrated Teachers Training). Additional study in Hanna Somatics, Neurosomatic Integration, and therapeutic exercise with small equipment is integrated into the mat classes.
